Suffolk University has implemented a paper-conserving measure called Operation Paper Cut.

This printing system requires students to swipe a Suffolk ID Card - also called a RAM card - at a print release station and choose their document from the print queue.

Once you have sent an item to a printer, walk over to the printer. Next to the printer will be a computer monitor with a blue screen - this a print release station. Select "Print Jobs" and swipe or scan your Suffolk ID card. Then you may select your document from the print queue.

Students will receive $25 - or 500 pages - of free printing every semester. Unused print credits roll over to the next semester.

If you run out of print credits, you can add more online using a debit or credit card.
