Directions first to the building:

We are located in the heart of Boston, at 73 Tremont Street, on the corner of Beacon Street.  We are directly across from the Omni Parker House Hotel.  Our building is sometimes referred to as the Rosalie K. Stahl Center.

We have a guide featuring an interactive Google map that shows our two entrances and the location of nearby subway stops.  You can find that guide and map here.

You can enter the building at the front or at the more direct Library entrance at the rear of the building on Tremont Place.  You will need to present a valid ID to be issued a guest pass.

The Poetry Center is on the level up from the 2nd Floor library entrance level.  It is on the 3rd Floor, straight back, then around the corner to the right, after you go up the stairs.  The Poetry Center is Room 3018.  (If you need an elevator, when you enter the Library, take a right at the Reference Desk.  The elevator is to your right after you cross the lobby "bridge."

Please also feel free to ask any librarian or library staff person for assistance with finding the Poetry Center.
